Coil Coffee Company was crafted for the love of exceptional coffee and inspired by the tattoo culture. It was founded by tattooers John Perez and Frankie Villarreal. Through their love for tattoos and coffee they decided to blend the two. They proudly create their art and coffee in Texas.
MEET THE TEAM
John Perez is a proud Texan, a self- taught tattoo artist, and a passionate coffee enthusiast. His artistic journey began with a love for self-expression, and over the years, he's cultivated a distinctive style that speaks to his creative spirit. While tattoos have always been his main focus, his love for coffee has become a newfound passion that complements his craft.
Though he discovered his love for coffee later in life, it quickly became an integral part of his daily routine and artistic process. Inspired by his appreciation for the rich culture of Texas, each batch of coffee is carefully crafted to reflect the flavors and warmth of the Lone Star State, bringing a taste of Texas to coffee lovers everywhere.
A South Texas native, Frankie Villarreal is a tattooer and co-founder of Coil Coffee Company. He has 15 years of tattooing experience and loves coffee. He feels these are two things that go hand in hand. He is also a proud veteran of the US Army and worked as a Multimedia Illustrator, where he learned much of the design and art that he utilizes today.
